Born Attila Draviczki has become the fastest rising Dj in the history of the legendary New York City nightclub scene. His passion for music led him to djing and spending countless hours honing his skills and developing his musical direction.
His flawless mixes and unrivalled energy was derived from humble beginnings in London UK at Babushka. (www.styleinthecity.co.uk) Riding off the wave of Babushka’s success, he started his own promotion team “Housey Doings” based out of Notting Hill Gate. In 1995, he teamed up with Amato Recordings and promoted the now infamous Sunday afterhours party at Ministry of Sound. It was an immediate success and became an event to see and be seen by the top industry professionals in London’s nightlife scene. .. In August 2000, Attila retuned to his home in Debrecen, Hungary. He opened Genius Bar with partners Gyuszi and Peter. As the Saturday night resident, he stormed the local Hungarian club scene spinning soulful Disco House, with elements of organic Grooves. It was the first time Hungarian club goers were exposed to this sound and it becamed widely accepted. Constantly looking to fuel his musical passions, Attila decided to sell Genius bar and move to New York City. He opened the Keybar in late 2002 and continued his Saturday night residency. Gaining instant notice from the industry, he began to get booked for elite functions such as the 2003 HBO “Sex And The City” staff party and the Gillette M3 Power Razor launch party honoring special guest and fashion mogul P. Diddy (Bad Boy Records). He is consistently booked by NYC’s top promoters and has spun at some of the most prestigious house music venues such as Sullivan Room and the now legendary Avalon VIP Spider Room (formerly known as Limelight) … Atilla has since played alongside many DJ’s and musicians including: Carlos Gibbs (www.deephouseproject.com / SF), Supa DJ Dmitri (Ex-Deee-Lite), DJ Dathan (System Recordings / NYC), NYC Remixer Patrick Quade (www.unfoundsound.com), Jed Quinn, DJ Tommy Bones (Kingstreet/Wave / NYC), Colin Patterson, Demi (S.O.S. London), Nikodemus (Turntable on the Hudson), J-Jay (OM Records), Ivano Bellini (Space Miami), Phil D. (Dancetracks), and Taimur (Blkmarket NYC) to name a few… In most recent times, he was reunited with DJ Andy Slate (soulmate records) and they are currently collaborating on future projects. In addition to playing in NYC, Attila has headline in Atlanta’s Lego Lounge and the 4-story Mega Club in Kansas City, MO known as the Cave. Attila continues to be able to move crowds from small lounges to large Mega clubs.
Never forgetting his roots, Attila still utilizes elements of Funk, Breaks, Disco and Jazzy Deep House in his sets. DJ Sochenda (a.k.a. Soche) was surrounded by music at an early age. Coming from a strong family lineage of Cambodian musicians and as the youngest of four siblings gave her exposure to many styles of music. Her musical influences span from Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, House, New Wave, and Pop. The fusion of these distinct sounds have helped cultivate her unique DJing style today. Soche creates a musical journey for audiences, young and old, with her unassuming musical flow moving through the crowd and awakening anyone in its path. Her sets evoke movement and feel-good memories through decades of musical waves. Come check her out!
Growing up in NY/NJ, Chris Rodrigues (DJ Rha Ruckus) was heavily influenced by some of the finest NY radio Djs. Also, being the youngest in a family with a wide range of musical tastes enhanced his appreciation for the diversity of sounds and influences embodied within Hip Hop music (from Funk/Soul/R&B to Jazz and Rock).
Rha Ruckus would spend countless hours digging for records to find the timeless classics and upcoming head nod tracks that would keep him inspired and motivated in his efforts to develop his cutting and blending skills. Soon after years of wearing through many records and listening back to his TDK recordings, Rha Ruckus brought his craft to the level where he was able to secure guest DJ spots and residencies.
Rha Ruckus’ signature sets takes the crowd on memory lane through a mix of different music genres and also creates new memories by keeping the music fresh and current. He’ll also surprise you with his expertly produced mashups and remixes blended into the set. Come see for yourself!
I have started playing music on college parties and some other events back in 1988. Since than I played on thousands of parties being a resident DJ for Orange Cafe Rock Club, the Jimi Hendrix Music Pub, than the Genius Bar/Club in Hungary. Since we opened KEYBAR in 2001 for about 10 years now I’ve been taking my place at KEYBAR’s DJ booth on Fridays. My passion for music, entertainment and hospitality will keep me around for a long time. My music is a mix of great classics including 50’s/60’s Rock n’ Roll, 70’s Classic Rock, Disco and Funk, 80’s Punk, Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop and New Wave, 90,s Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and Dance. For me the best fun is to make my audience happy throughout the whole night with changing the stile of music back and forth for everyone’s pleasure when the vibe of the party is just unstoppable and no one wants to leave the bar.
